"Is everything ready?" I asked after he finished with the receptionist and trotted towards me.

He nodded, dangling the keys at me as we both headed to the room he had booked for us.

Though my body was giddy with excitement and anticipation, his present disturbed expression didn't go unnoticed. I just hoped that by the time we were done, he'd feel better.

"Are you alright?" I asked when I couldn't keep it in any more.

"Yes, I'll be." His lips curved into a side smirk as he opened the door.
