I couldn't understand why I reacted the way I did, but it was surprising to find Victoria and Bumpy making out in the ward.

Heck! How did he even know that she was there?

Maybe I reacted that way because I didn't expect them to be back together that easily, but it still didn't make any sense that I had to run off like that.

"Lorraine!" He shouted, his heavy steps resonating behind me, but I didn't stop. "Wait up, please."

I was already feeling embarrassed and the quirky stares that the nurses passed at me didn't help matters.
