Waking up to meet Dexter pacing to and fro in front of me added to my nausea, but I felt better knowing that someone other than my father was genuinely worried about me.

I couldn't wait to tell him about my pregnancy. He's going to be so happy about being a grandfather.

Dexter halted his little parade and scooted over to scrutinise my face. "Thank goodness, you're finally awake. I'll go and get the doctor." He exclaimed when he saw that I was awake and made to leave but I was quick to grab his wrist.
