Zoe's mind was filled with what Penelope had said, and she hadn't noticed when the bedroom door had cracked open.
Rushing to get to the hospital, she turned on the speakerphone and placed her mobile on the nightstand, hurrying into the walk-in closet to grab her clothes.
Penelope's voice came through the phone again: "It's just preliminary news, and it's not yet certain if it's a match. You should come over and have your brother complete some more tests."
"I'll contact the donor side again, and once the final results are in, if it's a match, the heart transplant won't have to wait too long."
