I still remembered the shivers that peppered my skin so lightly that I may have lost my footing if I hadn’t been backed up and trapped.

I remembered the strong scent of what I couldn’t even precisely describe and his feathery breaths against the skin of my neck, and I wish I could smack myself for being unable to do anything about it.
