Nathan’s POV

Amelie was thrilled with Biscuit. It’s the best feeling in the world to make her smile. I think it’s now my new mission in life. She and Zander played with Biscuit for over an hour inside the mansion, then took him outside to do his business and play in the snow. The amount of squeals of joy that Amelie made brought me happiness.

Now, we’re sitting by the fire snuggling, and Biscuit is passed out, tired on his dog bed in front of the fire.
