Zander woke up in the ambulance but was totally out of it.

“I’m here, Zander,” I said nervously. “Everything is going to be ok.”

“I need to know if Zander takes anything else,” the paramedic said. “Anything else?”

“What do you mean?” I replied.

“Any recreational drugs?” She asked.

“Absolutely not,” I exclaimed. “He’s a good kid, plus he gets tested for football.”

“It’s ok,” she smiled. “I believe you.”

“Does it look like something like that?” I questioned.

“He looks like he’s reacting to something,” she said.
