Amelie’s POV

I can’t believe we’re in California. I’ve always wanted to go. The limo took us straight to the amusement park. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a personal concierge that Nathan had hired to give us a VIP tour of the park, along with a photographer to accompany us.

“But first,” Nathan said, grinning. “You need something special.”

“What?” I asked.

“These,” he stated, and handed me a bag.

I opened it and squealed. “These are the Vera Wang wedding mouse ears!” I cried. I jumped up and hugged Nathan tightly.

I had seen them in a magazine. I knew they were a hefty price....
