Amelie showed up at the office with Dylan in tow. I met her out in front of my office, next to Samira’s desk. She looked frazzled. I would, too, if I had a guy who tried to sexually assault me, basically stalking me. I hugged her tight and kissed her forehead.

“Are you doing ok?” I asked.

“As good as can be expected, I guess,” she replied.
