'When it seems like all hope has been lost, an unexpected miracle happens...' This was one of those instances. No lies, I would have given in to their demands if Rex had actually brought out my woman.

But, tables have turned now and the woman who I would lay down my life for over and over again, was the one who turned that table. I was fucking sure it was her...because immediately I heard that shot and Rex crumpled to the floor with a bloodied face, my eyes went straight to the window, catching a glimpse of her before she went into hiding.
