She stood up hurriedly and moved away from me, picking up her dress shyly from the ground and heading to the door without a second thought.

"Wait!" I commanded and she paused in her steps.

"Where do you think you want to move to like that?" She was startled, turning her face to me.

"I am sorry Alpha. If I do not rush there, Madam Betty would kill me if I stay here so that's why I have to go now."

I gave her a nonchalant and reluctant look as if I did not care.

"What about your wounds?"...
