“Why the hell are you? Why the hell do you care about me now? I thought you were acting indifferent before. I thought you didn’t like me and you didn’t want me to be your mate. Why now? Why do you have to claim me now?” Tobias shouted at Cassie, frustration evident in his tone.

Cassie immediately interrupted him. “I did not leave you! It was because we weren’t in our pack back then. Now that we are back here, in the palace, I have to claim you now, and I can’t leave you for Lily. You can never be with Lily Blackthorn,” she insisted.
