Derick's words sounded ridiculous to me. He believes Dad never cared for him, which is absurd.

The sooner he accepts that Macy is my mate and belongs to me, the better it will be for him. I hope he gets over whatever he feels.

I know it’s not easy, but it’s the right thing to do.
