The Alpha King bowed before the majestic image of the Moon Goddess, two wolves on her either side and a glittering crown of all the phases of the moon adorned her head. She was holding a torch and a royal staff in her left and right hands respectively.

Kallias found almost-dried moonflowers above the hearth. “The Healers have been burning offerings to the Moon Goddess, I see.” He tossed three of the moonflowers to the fire before cutting his own palm.
