"Nothing," Anguish smothered her voice as she tenderly held his wrist and drifted it apart from her cheek. Descending her tragic eyes down at the floor, she stepped in passing him.

 

"Abby!" The unsettled heart of him pronounced her name softly in low spirits. She went upstairs, deliberately avoiding him.

 

"Abby! Who was that?" He burst into tension since his heart couldn't digest her dull face anymore.

 

She veered around. "What can you do if I say?" With a raging look, she asked.

 

"I will-"

 

"Kill him?" She finished her sentence, which made him speechless.

 

He nodded firmly. "Yes!"

 

"That's why I can't tell," she enunciated miserably and went inside...
