Monica frowned and blinked once. Strong light hit her eyelids, and she fluttered her eyes open.
“Is frowning the first thing you do after you wake up?” Adam asked and removed his hands from the curtains he had pulled apart to let the sun enter the room.
Monica stretched out and sat up. She had fallen asleep, and obviously, he hadn't moved her from his bed.
“Well, you're annoying me since the morning.” She flushed and angrily stood up. Even the fact they had slept in one bed couldn't brighten her mood. His words still hung in the air and kept tearing her heart.
