I felt the warm shaft of sunlight touching my face..I opened my eyes,slowly,blinking from time to time to see clearly, and i stayed like that for a few minutes. I tried to make sense of what happened last night, but it all seemed a mess in my mind. I could see that the sun was dappled through the window, streaming through. Birds sang happily from somewhere outside. Whispering waves crashed against the shore like waterfall ; like the sound of a river crashing against the rocks.
