I come down the stairs from the children's room. I walk past the guest room and listen to Belle and Sarah talking for a moment. The conversation is intense, so I decide to wait. I go to Alpha Erick's office. I knock on the door and gently push it.

"May I come in and see my husband or is he too busy at the moment?" I ask him. He looks up from what he is working on and smiles at me.
