I sweat as I lie her on the bed. I toss once more on top of the covers as the heat in my body flares. My stomach sloshes with the amount of water I have drunk trying to stay cool. I rise from the bed in a rush to go into the bathroom. I flip on the shower and turn it to the coldest setting it can go. Quickly removing my pants I step under the spray and moan in pain against the water hitting my skin. I grit my teeth knowing that I need to stay in longer.
