I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Her transformation happened so fast that for a moment I couldn’t tell where Magma ended, and her dragon began. After a light started to glow from her as she grew there is now a giant dragon in her place. She is the scarlet red color of the streaks in her hair. Around her face I can see patches of black that spread into all the black spikes down her back.

As I stare at the beast in amazement I watch as her form lowers, and her eyes hold my gaze. It hasn’t moved toward me while I looked it over...
