"Here, call your Alpha Jed. We need to know what's happening.'' Drew said, handing her the phone.

"I can't Drew, I don't think I can. I really do not want to talk to him especially after hearing this.'' she said.

"Okay, should I speak to him then?'' Drew said, gently.

Laura thought about this for a while and she decided it was best if she spoke to her step father herself. She wanted to hear his voice when he denied the allegation. Laura sighed, taking the phone from him. She dialed Alpha Jed's number, hoping that he would pick it up.

"Yes.'' Alpha Jed snapped.

"Hi... Alpha Jed.'' Laura croaked....
