Laura slowly came around and the first thing she noticed was the bright white light that hung on the ceiling. She groaned, trying to sit up but a gentle hand pushed her down.

"Please rest ma'am.’’ a voice said.

"Where am I?" Laura asked.

"Safe.’’

Laura's eyes were open now and she could pick out one or two things in the room. Immediately, she knew she was in an hospital since the walls were painted in a brilliant white.

"Missed me?" a voice said.

Laura whipped her head towards the direction of the voice. She almost cried in relief when she saw Drew walking towards her.

"You bet.’’ Laura smiled....
