I hurriedly took out my phone as soon as I got to the back of the restaurant and dialed Kathryn's contact.

"Guess what?!" I said happily

"How can I guess when I don't know what happened?" she asked tiredly

"You're such a bore! Well, I pecked Chris today and he didn't say anything about it. He's beginning to fall for me because of the sad story I told him about myself so it's only a matter of time before I have him wrapped around my fingers" she screamed in excitement

"Really? Are you serious right now?" she exclaimed

"Of course! I rushed to call you immediately"...
