When she woke up, it was already midnight.

　　There was a wet towel on her forehead. A maid stood by her bed and fell asleep on the table.

　　The maid was awakened by the rustling sound of the quilt when she supported herself up. The maid quickly stood up and held her up. "Miss Kate, you are awake."

　　"Yes," said Kate, touching her forehead. Her fever had gone down. "Are you taking care of me? Thank you."

　　The maid shook her head and asked Kate what she wanted to eat. She brought it up.
