"I told you that I'm fine already. I can resume work," I whine to Raymond. I have been at home for the past two days, and all effort to convince him that I'm fine and can go to the office has proven abortive.

"I told you to rest, baby," He utters as he strokes my hair, and I sigh briefly, knowing he won't listen to me no matter how much I try to convince him.
