Jacqueline climbed into his car, a feeling of sadness engulfing her at the thought of having to leave Romeo's castle. She loved it here. Strangely, it felt like home. Gilbert climbed in and started the ignition, watching her discreetly every now and then. She looked sort of melancholy.
