The door opened to reveal a tall figure, his face hidden by the darkness.

“Is this my savior?” She mumbled to herself with a bubble of hope brimming inside of her.

“Stand up!” The person whispered and she sat up immediately, her heart filled with joy.

“Come with me now and I don’t wanna hear a sound from you” The man ordered and she nodded hastily.

The thought of freedom brought strength to her weak bones, she stood up immediately and began walking after him, ignoring the pain that shot through her joints with each step she took.

He led her out of the house, tiptoeing and watching his sides...
