My heart began to pound again and my head felt heavier than normal as it ached badly. In fact, my whole body trembled like a death sentence had been passed on me. Maybe I should have followed Anita. We could have come up with a better plan.

“It's impossible, Layla. My brother would never send you. He doesn't know you for a start."
