Anita's POV

When I dialed Tori’s number, she didn't pick on the first ring. Was she actually suspecting me now? I tried the second time and was relieved when she picked.

"Hey, Tori. Say…would you be free today? Let's catch up. It's been a while.”

I don't know if I imagined it in my head, but I believed she paused for a moment. Was she calculating something in her head?

"Uh…my schedule is actually full for today. I'm sorry.” she chuckled in her usual manner. “A lot of things just seem to come together all at once." 

“It's okay. I guess you were pretty stressed out from playing the host...
