Luca’s here. The sight of him gives me a strange rush of hope. They did say that he was busy collecting proofs that will discredit the accusations against me. I just hope that he’s found something solid to slap on the council’s faces.
Jace breaks into a smile as Luca steps through the doors. “You’re just in time.” He grins.
Reed tilts his head with a sly smirk. “Finally. Let’s end this boring trial once and for all.”
