He descended down the stairs slowly, till he got to the living room, but stopped abruptly, as he met Evelyn, sitting. He gulped down the lump in his throat, and without saying a word, he walked over to the dining, where he met Nora, setting the table.

"You're finally here, I thought you weren't going come down here, I was going to come drag you down myself." Nora said, while serving food on the plate, and Ivan just flashed her a smile, as he pulled out a chair, and sat down. Normally, he'd tease her, but he was in no mood to do that.
