“Ok.” I replied curtly, dismissing the palace guard with a wave as I buried my head in pack reports and invoices.

Then I thought of Hanni and sat up immediately, erasing every thought of salt distribution from my mind…and then I smiled.

I really can’t wait for this case to be settled, so I can finally be with my mate fully…to hold her…to make her love me or is this some kind of joke from the moon goddess? For I have been mate less since I was born…I may have had a few flings...
