I stared in dismay as Simone got up from the sofa she was seating on and came over to where Josh and I were sitting, then with her eyes never leaving my face, she sat down on the plush fancy stool beside me and asked softly;

“Hanni…is there anything I should know?”

I looked at her beautiful face etched with worry and sighed deeply, sparing Josh a glance momentarily, I replied apprehensively:

“Simone…I’m sorry I didn’t tell you in details, why I left home, but we had just met and I wasn’t sure if I could trust you yet.”
