“Have you heard?” Simone gushed breathlessly as she entered the chambers and paused suddenly as she sighted Josh sitting on the sofa, reading a magazine. “Oh I have forgotten that you are around.”

“Yes. Alfred said he was welcome to stay” I beamed. “So what is it I haven’t heard Simone?”
