Three days had went by quickly since I found Wanni in Alfred’s study.

Three days since my world broke.

I stayed in my chambers most of the time. I told the servants I was sick. They brought food. I did not eat. They asked if I needed anything and I said no.

Simone came every day to check on me. She knocked on my door repeatedly and called my name and I did not answer.

“Hanni please open the door,” she said after the tenth time.
