Third Person POV

Julia could not believe her ears on hearing those words from him. She blinked her eyes repeatedly, unable to accept his words. She tried not to cry because of him but she couldn't hold it much. She let the tears flow freely as she felt a huge pain rushing through her heart.

“Is this how you want to treat me, Wolfe? Are you going to reject me?” She found herself asking him even when it seemed obvious.

“I am not rejecting you, I just don't want you to think that anything is going on between us.”
