The day that I’ve always fantasized was finally here—me walking down the aisle with Kian waiting for me at the altar with the biggest smile on his face. 

Heat flamed my cheeks as I stared at my reflection in the mirror, my mind wandering back to what had happened between Kian and me two nights back. I had stayed in my parents’ mansion two days before the wedding because Dad said it was the family’s tradition. 

So while he was out picking mum and her relatives from the airport, Kian had shown up at the door, looking rough, torn, and definitely pissed.
