“What!” I screamed, staring at Lian intensely, my heart pounding hard against my chest.

Lian pulled my hand closer and we moved closer to the wall. My fingers felt cold in his grip, even though my skin was starting to sweat.

“What do you mean you're at the rooftop? That means... I'm the person, right?” I asked again, my voice trembling as my body stiffened.

“I was on the rooftop that day. Do you remember who was following you?” he asked, and I nodded slowly, my throat tightening.
