“What was that thing you gave to the person ask?” The voice asked, and I turned, my heart beating fast, already looking for a perfect lie to say.

“Dad!” I chimed, trying to sound more normal than I felt. I couldn’t let my dad know I was sending information out from the organisation…or else I’m planning to sign a contract if death. He’s the type who’s so loyal, he didn't even blink before handing his own daughter over to them.
