“No one will be going to the Pixies”

Mildrid’s announcement caught us unaware and we all turned in her direction in utmost dismay.

“As I said earlier, the boys will be better, I can take care of this” she added confidently.

This lady, why do I find it hard to trust her? She has been with my brothers all morning and yet there is no improvement. They haven’t even spoken a single word. Why then is she still asserting that she is equal to the task or does she want them to die before she finally admits her incompetence?

“What is happening, my lady, are they okay now?”...
