He raises his hand with palm facing up, creating a small flame in it. Mckenna is looking at it with awe, happy of what she witnesses.

“So, it isn’t like them anymore, you know, cursing the one it touches,” she says to him, thinking Elyss and her scarred face.

“No, it burns hot though,” he says proudly. They both laugh and Zed stops instantly, as he starts seeing what Leona is witnessing.
