Conri looked at Daciana who seemed to be devoid of life. If not for the fact that he could hear her heart beating steadily he would have thought she was dead.

Though he didn't know what kind of powers Daciana had used just now to save them from the situation, he was sure it was the power that drained her of her energy.

But why would she call upon something like that when she knew it was going to cause her to lose all her energy?

He was that concerned and just hoped that she hadn't used anything forbidden as he knew that the use of forbidden...
