I know that the reason it wasn't Jessica was there was because she still had to stay there to hear what people thought of her. For her it was like another torture. I really don't want my friend to be hurt like that if I can help it.

"Is something wrong? You two have such stony expressions." Just then Elijah returned, pouring half a cup of coffee into his mouth.
