I kept as calm as I could and continued to look at the words Isabella had written down.

But even though she no longer knew Liam, she still wrote him off as treacherous.

I was reminded of something Joanna told me. She said that the brain always makes us forget things we don't really want to remember, which actually makes our lives a little easier.

I'm afraid that's where Isabella is now.
