XAVIER POV

"He's gone now," she breathes out. I could tell our close proximity was bothering her. The quick way she pulled me against her, left my hands around her rib cage, the edges of my fingers brushing against the bottom of her breasts.

I back away, and she continues to walk, be following closely behind. When we reach the end of the road, the takes her car keys out of her pocket and unlocks her car, the bright white lights of an expensive Mercedes blink back at her.

"It was good seeing you," she says in a way that I knew she's just being nice.

Or at least...
