Leaving the room, I went straight to the kitchen in a bid to whip up a quick meal but from the voices I heard at the entrance, I could tell that they had already turned it into their domain. I didn’t want to go any closer to hear their conversation so I decided to leave for my sanity.

I had thought that my plan to separate them had worked but it wasn’t good enough, unfortunately. I was left to either try harder or let fate manifest in their lives.
