Grady opens the door. He’s wearing nothing but a towel.
I smile and say nothing.
“I was beginning to think you weren’t listening when I gave you my room number,” he says.
“I’m a good listener,” I say and step into his room. He closes the door behind me and I wait for him to lead the way into the room. He shows me into the living area.
“Make yourself at home,” he says as he crosses to the minibar and removes the whiskey. He remembers my drink. He mixes our drinks and when he turns, he stops dead. I’ve pulled my blouse out of my skirt and unbuttoned it....
