Paige blinked repeatedly, still thinking about the question Cole asked her. She didn't even know if she liked Nate or not.

"Should I assume your silence as yes?" Cole asked. She turned her gaze to him.

"Why do you even ask?" She questioned him.

"Isn't it obvious? I want to know what you think about Nate"

"You've been friends since highschool. That's why we are close. Besides, he's married. So my answer is no. I don't love Nate" she said and faced her keyboard.

"Understood" he smirked. The door suddenly flung open as Nate walked in. He never thought he would see Cole in Paige office.
