“COME ON, Abigeal. You can do it.” I urged, standing across from her with an encouraging smile on my face. She shot me an annoyed glare which probably meant I should shut up, then went back to focusing on taking a few steps towards me.
Her face shone with sweat and her brow was furrowed in concentration as she shuffled forward one step and inhaled quickly at the pain.
At the hospital three weeks ago, the doctors had said that the bullet had missed her bone and any vital nerves. Also, they'd commented that Abigeal was in perfect condition so healing should be quicker.
