I WAS awoken by a cat.

I opened my eyes, found it blinking bi-colored eyes at me slowly while sitting on my torso. I stared back at it in silence for a moment, not sure how I was supposed to react to a strange cat making itself comfortable on my chest. I was pretty certain there were no pets in this house.

“Move.” I said finally. It didn't react apart from swishing its tail twice. I cocked a brow; I'd had many strange experiences, but I’d never been challenged by a feline before.
